Re: Viewing Zoneminder on the web

Ah, if your regular streaming is not working, neither will direct linking to zms. The error you posted above typically reflects a misconfigured apache configuration (except for the address in use, which may be an after-effect of misconfiguration, not sure) Let's start here: 1) Please post the exact ...

Re: ZMC-process: constantly increasing CPU load

Glad you found out the root cause. What value did you enter inside ZM and what was the value in-camera for this load spike to occur? @asker, Re-entering the FPS-settings in ZM leads to the same high load behaviour. I can't believe that the solution was so simple. I read about issues with setting the...

Re: Viewing Zoneminder on the web

A simple way to find out is to log into ZM and play a live stream (via the web console). When you see it working, right click and do a view source - that will show you the HTML code - compare that code with what you are trying to do zmuser/zmpass is not the right login creds - you need to put in the...

Re: Zone setup vs Alarm numbers

The score is a "function" of the values you put in, not quite 1:1 mapped, according to what I see: a) Scores for triggered (OPT_Trigger), Signal reacquire and forced via web (Force Alarm) are static - which makes sense - lets ignore those b) Lets focus on scores for motion detection: b.1) The score ...

The URL you posted is incorrect - it was missing /zm - not sure if it was a typo <img src="http://ip-of-zm-server /zm/ cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=jpeg&monitor=2&scale=100&maxfps=5&buffer=1000&user=user&pass=user"> Hi Guys Still having issues <img src="http://ip-of-zm-server/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=jpeg&monit...

Re: ZMC-process: constantly increasing CPU load

sounds good - look forward to an update after you monitor for a while (and also keep an eye on syslog for any odd errors or recurring warnings)

Also, you can experiment with the other formats of your camera too

I just released zmNinja in the play store. You need ZM 1.28.107 or above.

Re: ZMC-process: constantly increasing CPU load

Thanks - for the sake of a 'base state', would you mind deleting all but 1 camera and then lets debug. _after_ you delete the 3 cameras, keep only one, and restart ZM: 1. Try changing the access mode to that camera and monitor load (switch to ffmpeg if it supports it, for example, or using simple HT...

Re: ZMC-process: constantly increasing CPU load

Some more questions to establish a baseline (my apologies if you have already answered them somewhere else) 1. How much RAM does your system have? 2. How many cameras, what are the FPS settings for each camera, what resolution? 3. What is the output of df -h ? 4. How are you accessing your camera(s)...
