What you have there seems to very quite common when trying to stream RTSP via ffmpeg.

This comes up in the forums at least a few times a month.

But as far as I know there is not yet a fix for zoneminder.

Can someone please advice how you go about calculate required storage space?

Lets say that I am recording 24/7/365 from a IP camera 1280x1024 (SXGA) @ 15FPS.

How much storage space would this need per 24hours of recording?

I guess has there has been no replys, that there is no paid supported for ZoneMinder, and that I will now be forced to use other software.

I have just upgraded from 1.24 to 1.25. Can anyone please tell me if you still have to adjust the Shared Memory when using 1.25. And if this the case, there was a script that adjusted the shared memory, but I can no longer find it, would someone please put up a link to it. Thanks for your time. Best...

I take it you have one of the new Samsung D series TV's, I have the Samsung C8000.

On the C series in the app manager there is a program called "Mobiscope", it does not yet support Zoneminder, but I have put in a support ticket asking for them to support zoneminder.

I have still not been able to get my X100V working via RTSP or ffmpeg. RTPS I just get no video feed, and like you if I try and use ffmpeg it works then fails. No I still have not been able to get RTSP working within zoneminder, but can get it working within other linux software.

So the RTSP is a problem with zoneminder.
