Re: Timestamp font adjustments

I would also like to express my wishes to see manual adjustment of the timestamp font size, or at least the very least automatic resize of the timestamp depending on the image size. I have been swapping out my old analog cctv cameras for 3 and 5 megapixel IP cameras, but now the timestamp is unreada...

Re: What are my options for recording audio?

knnniggett: Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post / question. I understand fully that currently ZoneMinder it's self is not able to record audio. I like ZoneMinder, and want to stick with ZoneMinder, and changing from linux to windows is just not going to happen. I am now trying to think...

Re: Compatibility with HIK cameras.

If you are referring to HikVision IP cameras.

I have some Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras, with firmware V5.1.6 build 140412, on the latest version of ZoneMinder without any issues.

Best Regards.

What are my options for recording audio?

Good Day All. As far as I am aware the current release of ZoneMinder still does not support any kind of audio recording. My new IP CCTV's cameras have built in microphones. and as such I can log into the camera via a web browser and view the live video stream as well as hear what is going on. But du...

Re: Intel NUC as Zoneminder server?

I have seen posts on this forum with people using Intel atom set-ups so I can't see any reason why you could not use a NUC.
But saying that it's all going to come down to what are you needs from the system.

Re: Remote upgrade from 1.25.0 to 1.27.x

Thank you for your time and replies.

I am happy to say that the upgrade went smoothly and now running ZoneMinder 1.27.99.0

Everything seems to be working as it was, and the system is now ready for the new IP cameras to be added.

Thanks again.

Re: Error socket_sendto ( /var/run/zm/zms-347773s.sock) fail

I have been following this post, and just looked at my apache files.
There was no extra zoneminder related files.

So I had to add this for my ubuntu 12.04 64bit server.

/etc/apache2/sites-available/zm
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/

Re: IP video door entry

If you do a forum search, you will see that the subject of RTSP pops up a lot.
I have even posted regarding problems with RTSP, and as yet I have not found a fix for my problem, so I have been forced to use http stream with my camera with a max of 640x480 @ 5fps.

I do hope you have better luck.

Will RTSP ever be fixed in ZoneMinder?

Good day all. As per the title, Will RTSP ever be fixed without ZoneMinder? I see posts related to RTSP problems here on a weekly basis, but as of yet, I have not seen or found a way to make ZoneMinder work with RTSP. I know the fault is within ZoneMinder or the way it handles RTSP, as BlueCherry fu...

Re: CNB Camera - RTSP Feed works in VLC but not Zoneminder

I would say good luck with getting RTSP working, or getting paid support. I am in very much the same boat as you, and I even put up a "Paid Support" post, and not one reply. And talking of boat's I can see you are just a stone's throw away from my little island. Here is my Post: Any Paid S...
