Make sure the "Is the ffmpeg video encoder/decoder installed" cheked.

Also make sure ffmpeg is installed and the path is correct.

Re: Foscam FI8910W PT PZ Will Not Work, Incompatible.

I think I has issues like this when trying to get my PTZ camera to work. I dont remember what the exact issue was but I can tell you a few places to look. Make sure your control script has the correct permissions. For example mine are root:root with -rw-r--r--. Example if you script is named Foscam....

Re: Help configuring ZM with one CAM and different popositio

I'm not to sure what your wanting. Can you provide the code for your script?

Are you saying if motion is detected by camera 1, PTZ camera will move to position 2. If motion is detect by camera 2, move PTZ camera to position 3. Something like that?

Re: Zoneminder stops at 12 monitors.

Are you viewing the monitors in montage mode or individual? If in montage and you are using FireFox you will have to change some settings in FF in order to see all the cameras at once.

Re: Is it possible to timestamp in milliseconds?

You can add a .%f to the end of the seconds to get XX.xx seconds.

Example
%N - %y/%m/%d %H:%M:%S.%f

Its a StrfTime format if you want to look into other options.

Re: how do I find current run state ?

You can chage that but it does not say what state its currently in. At lease for me it only says "stopped" or "running". If I change to state "test" it will only show running at the top of the page. I dont see anything in the database that stores the current run state so you can call it later.

Re: how do I find current run state ?

I took a quick look at the run states and I dont see where it loggs what state its currently in. From the way it looks when you create a run state all it does is change the state of the monitors and thats it. Someone else with more knowledge than me can chime in here with a definite answer. If it do...

Re: Wanscam Foscam clone PTZ control file.

I've been playing with the camera some more and got a few more things working. Camera now can move relative and diagonally. I've corrected the movements so they move the right way. I'm unable to get auto stop to work at the moment so you will have to stop manually if doing a continuous pan or tilt. ...

Re: Wanscam Foscam clone PTZ control file.

After looking into the commands for this post I have found that this camera accepts degree command instead of the onstep command. Maybe this can be use for motion tracking? I'll look into it but dont expect anything soon. Sample command. To move camera up 50 positions decoder_control.cgi?command=2&d...

Wanscam Foscam clone PTZ control file.

I had to modify the Foscam PTZ control file to make the Wanscam PTZ camera work somewhat correctly. I've also modified it so I can easily command it to go to any position with a simple shell script. I apologize for the sloppy code edits. In time I hope to clean it up and get some other things workin...

[Solved] Mobile skin montage not showing images.

I had a probem with the mobile skin not showing images in montage view. I was able to fix the issue by editing the /usr/share/zoneminder/skins/mobile/view/montage.php file. Here is what I changed. Find the line that has <a href="?view=watch&mid=<?= $monitor['Id'] ?>"><img src="<?= viewImagePath( $im...

Re: Help configuring ZM with one CAM and different popositio

The way I would do it is to write a script and have it on a schedule with cron. Taken from a website http://www.tuxradar.com/content/build-your-own-surveillance-zoneminder Scheduling At the top of the screen, you can see that Zoneminder is showing as running. Clicking on this Running link allows you...

Re: Axis 207 and On-Camera motion detection solved

I just want to update this thread. I recently bought an Axis M3203 camera and was wanting to play around with the on board motion detection. After getting Zoneminder configured to accept the trigger input I tried configuring the camera. My camera has the latest firmware as of this writing. Firmware ...

Yes you can do that. Taken from the Zoneminder Wiki http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Hardware_Compatibility_List "Remote systems, themselves running zoneminder, can be accessed as cameras using the Remote Path of /cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=single&monitor=1&scale=100&maxfps=5&buffer=1000 - where t...

Re: CPU, disk space for 15 hd cameras

I'm running an AMD 4 core (I forget the speed) with two 500GB drives in raid 1. I have 14 cameras. 2x 800x600 and 12 640x480 with multiple motions zones each. Recording at 5fps. System load is around 4.0 or less on average with no one streaming the cameras. CPU is about 70-80%. I dont know how 25fps...
