He's probably gone on holiday....

Used Synaptic Package Manager to install the same version and all its dependencies. Since Synaptic "does everything" this makes knowing what happened wrong a bit tedious. Video generation now works. I saw yet another "how to install" ( http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.p...

Video generation fails as well
The problem about rtfm is that there isn't an up to date manual, and I don't think there has ever been one that talks about setting up exporting.
Somebody PLEASE prove me wrong!

O.K, I've read up on how to patch, and I've downloaded patch (seemed a good idea at the time). Does that mean change the permissions to 777?
