Glad you got your card working. I bet you are glad that your card was number 2 or 3 in the list rather than number 115. IMO the easiest way to get Cambozola to work is to simply download the one from the Zoneminder Downloads section. After downloading simply uncompress and copy the cambozoola....

PTZ Camera Callup Triggered by Software Event

At the moment, I don't see a way to do this with Zoneminder 1.24.2 so I thought I post this to see what kind of feedback I get.... It would be nice if one could program a PTZ camera to go to a particular preset if certain software conditions are met. Using two cameras for example, if motion is detec...

Knnniggett, I tried the settings that you posted but perhaps I am suffering from newbieism and cannot find the controls for changing the settings for remote protocol or remote method. I looked through the camera settings as well as the options page. Do I need to go into terminal and try to muck wit...

Change your host path to what is shown in the thread previously mentioned:
http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... ht=airlink

Your camera programs the same in mjpeg mode as the 777.

BTW: the 500 should program the same as well. I just bought a 500W and have it working great.

I was impressed with how well the Airlink 777W worked with Zoneminder so I bought another Airlink camera, the 500W. Turns out it programs exactly the same as the 777W (minus the PTZ controls) and records at a high frame rate in mjpeg mode. Note that you will need the latest firmware (1.0.0 build 30)...

As changes to your system occur, new information is appended to your dmesg output.

Hmmm.... my hunch is that adding all 117 options to your configuration file will not work. My guess is that either the first or the last set of options will be the one that takes effect, but I've never tried it myself. It's possible you could end up with a system that doesn't finish booting (or boot...

For Unbuntu, you need to create a configuration file (call it something like "saa7134") in the following folder: /etc/modprobe.d/ FYI: The /etc/modprobe.conf file is depreciated, which is why you didn't see it. The next step (the hard part) will be to populate the file with the right configuration i...

Hi, are you using the camera's admin account to send the PTZ commands?

I don't think that was stated in the thread previously mentioned, but I believe you do need admin privileges to control the camera.

After buying an IP1000 from Newegg last November, I finally got around to trying this camera out. I tried the various remote host path's suggested in this thread, and the following thread... http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11065&highlight=plustek All in all, I was unable to get this...

Alright, last post and then I will shut up...

I forgot to mention that the above settings were done using firmware 1.0.0-25. I think it matters so if you are having troubles then first verify you've got the latest firmware for the camera.

I just wanted to say thank you to all those that have participated in this thread.... with the info posted here I was able to get my Airlink 777W working with Zoneminder at max resolution and frame rate. Pan/Tilt controls work as well. http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14094&highlight...

Re: Audio dump script

For those so inclined, I also hacked together an audio dump script for this camera for capturing audio from the built-in microphone. You can grab it here . An accompanying audio push script is also available here . I see that incorporating audio into Zoneminder is on the official To-Do list. Howeve...

Using the information in the forum thread mentioned previously, I was able to get the Airlink 777W to work with the following settings: Remote Protocol: HTTP Remote Method: Simple Remote Host Name: {username}:{password}@{camera ip} Remot...

Bought this camera a few weeks ago from geeks.com (at the time geeks.com was also selling the camera on E-Bay for the same price but with free shipping). I have not messed with Zoneminder in while so I've been going through a bit of a (re)learning curve. I can tell you that, now that I've got Zonemi...
