Re: ZM 1.32.3 (and 1.33.1) - bug on replay recorded JPEG images

I'm happy to help with testing. 1 Rasp Pi 3+, Debian 9.11, zoneminder 1.32.3 2 major issues: - rtsp+libvlc doesn't work - capturing but no data rate (direct browser to sources both work) - recorded events - no playback - similar issues to those seen by others (/dev/video0 and remote->Http/simple sou...

Re: zoneminder new hdd for data

Simplest way: once you have your new HD partitioned, formatted and mounted is to link to it. For example: Current HD, has path /var/cache/zoneminder/events as the path. New HD is mounted as /zoneminder (chown www-data:www-data /zoneminder so apache can write to it) shutdown zoneminder cd /var/cache/...

Re: Automatically Generate video on EVERY event - zmvideo.pl

OK sort of answered this myself. In the filter window you can setup a filter for the last 24hrs by selecting: "Date/Time" "Greater than or equal to" "-1 Day" Try this and you will see last 24hrs only, then click 'Create Video for all matches' & Set it to 'Run filter...

Re: ZMS Streaming - socket failure

I tried all the CGI-BIN stuff but would still not work, i was using ubuntu 13.10. I fixed by re-installing from scratch using ubuntu 12.04 - the guide here works fine: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_Server_12.04_64-bit_with_Zoneminder_1.25.0_the_easy_way Thanks to those who replied.

ZMS Streaming - socket failure

Hi All, I'm getting the following error, and tried all the usual fixes which google has provided: (ScriptAlias for cgi-bin) permissions on apache hashing of authentication php short tags is ON /etc/zm/apache.conf linked into /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/zoneminder.conf web_php[7348]: ERR [socket_sendto...

I did but only by cheating.. I had a 'spare' redhat 9 server at work, so I uploaded the source and recompiled it there. This included the libpcre.a in the binaries, which jump from 1.5 to approx 7mb... so with 5 or so binaries this is a nice upload. thank f**k for ADSL. Got a new issue now, severe l...

You must have libpcre.a installed to use remote cameras

Hi, I get this error when accessing remote cameras. OK the problem may appear obvious but I have this lib and ./configure finds it. On running make I get if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/software/mysql-standard-4.1.10-pc-linux-gnu-i686/include -I/software/ffmpeg-0.4.8/include -g -O2 -MT zm_rem...
