Yes

Yes, the new version crippled this script. It is written for 1.22.x. If I was better at the new scripting system (and perl for that matter), I could write an updated one. However, I'll leave that to someone with more know-how than I. All the control information can be gleaned from my script though.

Mootools More has draggables and droppables using Drag.Move and the like. Would preclude having to introduce a new jlib too. Just a thought.

This definately looks like an encoding issue. When you look at the stills for an event, do they have the same pixelation occuring? (this question makes a difference because video streaming to FireFox is either a series of jpegs or a streamed mpeg, and could be affected by your settings). Also, if th...

When dealing with Montage view, most browsers cap the number of simultaneous connections to a single server. If you have a large number of cameras, or a low cap, you may not be able to open new windows to ZM nor view all cameras in Montage view. Mine was capped at 7 I believe, which could easily be ...

I switched my httpd.conf (Fedora 9) to the KeepAliveTimeout of 5 and it "resolved" an issue I've been having with trying to pull up the ZM index page in FireFox taking up to 15-20s. Once in, the system seemed to work fine, it was just the initial connection that took forever. I'll have to ...

I wasn't marking a focus steal, but just providing a helpful reference. I had inquired to ZM to bake this patch in, but it hasn't made it just yet. There are numerous fixes that are contributed, and we can't expect them all to be incorporated into the trunk, which is why I keep a handy personal repo...

I don't use the ZM rpms as I have numerous compile mods as well as post-compile interface mods, so it is easier for me just to build from scratch. ZM works fine on FC9, and I believe there is a few posts on how to get it to work (ffmpeg-related problems and the like). Yes, the journaling thing is a ...

I had released a mod for montage view to view monitors by clicking on the image. It can be found here: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... highlight=

It doesn't have any scaling issues that I'm aware of.

Actually, there are a few of us who are web developers... (just don't tell anyone...shhhh) :) I provided a montage view mod that allows you to click on a camera's image to pull up single-monitor view in a new window. Very handy if your montage is shrinking your camera views. http://www.zoneminder.co...

I have heard ext2 has better performance than ext3, and also that the new ext4 that Fedora 9 ships with has a significant performance improvement over ext3. I don't have any benchmarks however. I just merrily throw my jpegs at ext2 and hope for the best. :) Oh, and ext4 solves the 32000 files in one...

Maybe the better option would be, rather than using the 'filter' window and it's complexities of SQL-style statements of date/time gt/lt calendar AND/OR date/time gt/lt calendar stuff, have a 'previous day', 'previous hour', 'next hour', 'next day' row of links on the event view (results) window to ...

Couldn't someone implement this in the web interface by having dual AJAX-style streaming? (one to update the main window and one to update a floating <div>)

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to sit down and puzzle it out right now, so I'm just throwing the idea out there for someone. :)

Yes, I try to use Gigabyte exclusively because of that. To maintain their reliability, they are very strict on their RAM support and it is advisable to strictly adhere to their HCL.
