If I could make a suggestion, I did a lot of research on delivering JPG/MJPG streams and found that in many cases delivering JPGS with keep-alive is much better than trying to deliver Multipart JPGS, this is very relevant in mobile and situations where the consumer is lower bandwidth than the produc...

Quick and dirty public website display

I wanted to display one of my monitors on my public website hosted at godaddy, nothing real time, just updated ever min or so. Here is my super simple and dirty hack: Create a shell script "putpic" on the zoneminder box with the following (change monitor-X to the monitor you wish to upload...

I've seen this before major reasons are:

1) mixing PAL and NTSC cameras.
2) improper resolution set on 9100 (IE pal set to 320x240 or 640x480)
3) bad ground
4) bad power supply or camera
5) unhooked ports that are not turned off

The little silver ring on the lens moves, it is not obvious but you can focus the camera with that. This camera is similar to the Lorex LNE3003, which I worked on with the guys at Lorex to make the UI much better (cross browser compatible). It also has Yoics built in so you can access it from anywhe...

Yea if you can physically install the box and have access to the router DynDns and IP forwarding can work well. But if you need to ship a box and want it to work right out of the box Yoics is very helpful as you can use DHCP on the zoneminder box and you don't have to port forward for remote access ...

Zavio with zoneminder

For the Zavio camera and zoneminder I think you just want to use jpg grabs on port 80: http://myserver/jpg/image.jpg -also this might work- http://myserver/cgi-bin/jpg/image.cgi For mjpeg you must have the correct port, which there are many, see the config. http://<servername>:<videoport>/video.mjpg...
