Re: Montage Review Not Working

Ahhhh - With a bit of poking around, I was able to click the "Live" button and they pulled up. Is this by design? No worries, either way.

Thank you,
Noobja

Montage Review Not Working

Hello, Since upgrading to 1.37.47, I am having an issue with the Montage Review. This is the same behavior across two systems. It refuses to load. Not sure what's going on but I'm hoping that the attached image can provide some clues. I opted to black out camera names in the image. Thank you for you...

Some users unable to view Console once logged in

Hi there, We've recently started experiencing an odd issue that only seems to affect a few user accounts so far. Some users are unable to log in and view anything. They enter their credentials, the page says "Logging In", and then see "This page isn't working". I can clear the co...

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size

Thanks for the replies, iconnor! In wanting to try to disable the suggested mp4 saving, I want to make sure I'm looking at the right setting. I know there is one under Images called OPT_FFMPEG. I'm thinking that can't be the setting you're referring to as that seems to be for on demand video generat...

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size

Back again with another question... This suggestion to disable decoding seems to disable the live viewing of the cameras. Is that correct? Wondering if there is a middle-ground between features and performance. At this point, it seems that we cannot run the system as intended without significantly l...

Re: Weird Issues Deleting Old Database Events - Causing High System Resource Usage

My apologies - I meant to include that zmaudit is and has been running in my reply :) Seems to run, chew some resources for a short while, then settle back down. It just doesn't seem to be clearing out some entries from before we deleted the storage events. I should also add that these events had be...

Re: Weird Issues Deleting Old Database Events - Causing High System Resource Usage

The filters weren't acting as expected and deleting the old footage. We have an older build running on 1.30.X that is stable and hasn't had any issues in over a year, so we were matching a lot of settings to that as well as combining the newer suggested methods. Disk space would fill up and then wou...

Re: Weird Issues Deleting Old Database Events - Causing High System Resource Usage

What's stumping me, and forgive my lack of familiarity, is the wording in the WAR message regarding the "Cause => Continuous EndDateTime" and the "Notes => Recovered". I'm just not sure I'm understanding what the error message is stating/doing. Perhaps it's just information, but ...

Weird Issues Deleting Old Database Events - Causing High System Resource Usage

Hi there, We are running ZM 1.36.12 on a Dell R710 server with 120GB RAM, 30TB HDD space, and 56 cameras. We initially had worked through some issues that required us to scrap the events that had been created up to that point. We simply ran a script that ripped through the events' storage location a...

Forgive me - How are the events stored at that point, then? I thought they were stored as JPEGs and then compiled to make the 'video' upon exporting the event. Sorry to sidetrack :)

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size

Would disabling the JPEG setting end up disabling the event recording entirely? Forgive me as I'm jumping in here.. I'm experiencing almost this exact issue. 1.36.12, 56 cameras, 3fps each, VGA resolution. System is a Dell R710, 120GB RAM, 24TB space in the RAID config. We restart the machine and ev...
