I have to agree with this problem assuming that the OP installed 1.36.26. Not only is the playback not smooth on 1.36.26, but the actual live monitor is not smooth either. I had no problems at all on 1.36.25. I only have 1 camera and plenty of memory. Running on Ubuntu 22.04.

What OS do you have and what is the maint level of PHP 8.1? I am running Ubuntu 22.02.1 and PHP 8.1.2 which was last updated 7/21/2022 and I do not have this problem with the points.

Note to OP. You say you upgraded from Ubuntu 21 LTS to 22 LTS. In actuality, there is no 21 LTS. The last LTS before 22.04 was 20.04. The LTS releases are every 2 years. Ubuntu 22.04 has now officially been released on 4/21. This is a long term release that replaces 20.04. Do we have a zoneminder release that will support 22.04? I'm currently on 1.36 but it has some problems on 22.04. What should I be running? 1.37 maybe?
