Zmes has the ability to use Amazon rekognition for obj det and plate recognizer.com for alpr.
Platerecognizer.com is decent. I have no experience with rekognition.

If your passing through gpus to lxcs you will have noticed you need to change your cgroup configurations to cgroup2. This is not the only caveat, you also need to double check the cgroup ID's. what version zoneminder are you running? I am on 1.36.5 and my buttons look like that
for the buffers the values are FRAMES so if you have that monitor streaming at 10 fps and want 5 seconds , that's 50 frames.
