Re: Load on the server

Also. Everything is clear here about recording the stream through in mp4. But for the second stream, to view it in montage mode, what should I specify as a source? MJPEG or JPEG or something else? It is clear that the resolution and frame rate should be less. Since in place of 16 sources there will ...

Re: Load on the server

Thank you very much for your reply. Everything is clear. I even wanted to do it all with groups. But what stops me now is that all my servers are showing the problem with apache semaphores. Maybe doubling the number of cameras will require more semaphores. https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php...

Re: update httpd in CentOS 7.9

Yes, I read about that. But for some reason it only applies to the zoneminder. And after rebooting everything seems to work, but not for long.

Maybe who is an expert in this matter and advise general recommendations for configuring semaphores for zoneminder?

update httpd in CentOS 7.9

A week ago there was an update to httpd in CentOS 7.9. Immediately after the update httpd did not start. I rebooted the computer and everything seemed fine, but then again today httpd crashed with the log. CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core) httpd-2.4.6-97.el7.centos.2.x86_64 [Sun Nov 21 03:49:03.1...

Re: Load on the server

I have read a lot of information about this and would like to know how the editing mode works when recording the stream from cameras in mp4. In general, I would like to be able to take 2 streams from each camera in future versions of the program. For good resolution for recording and bad resolution ...

Re: Load on the server

(Sorry for my English.) I changed the server to a more powerful hardware, but the problem did not go away. AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor RAM 8G NVIDIA Corporation GP108 [GeForce GT 1030] zoneminder 1.36.5 To save bandwidth from cameras and storage space, I record RTSP stream in mp4, and like ...

Re: Load on the server

I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood something.
I need 2 sources (2 streams, rstp mp4 for recording, and mjpeg for viewing in montage mode) to be bound to 1 monitor.

Are you talking about this ?

Re: Load on the server

Excuse me, can I specify 2 sources per camera in the program?
The first source to record a direct stream of mp4, the second source in mjpeg to view the cameras in montage mode (without recording)?
I think that THIS will greatly reduce the load on the server.

Also, upgrade to 1.36.5. There are actual improvements in it.
Thank you for your reply.
I did that, it didn't seem to help much. To make it work, I have now lowered the frequency from 8 to 2. It seems to work ...

Load on the server

I use the version 1.36.4 Cameras are recorded in mp4 through and look in the browser in edit(montage) mode. Video analysis is disabled. When the stream was 1fps, the load on the server was insignificant and everything was fine. After increasing the frame rate to 8, the load on the server increased s...

Re: functions.php line 1902

Yes, I understand.
But as I understand it has nothing to do with capturing, but it is with displaying, and it is when they look at the view - MONTAGE.
Red indicator at the top of the error in the log, distracting :(

I'm sorry I don't know the answers to your questions. I am using CentOS 7x myself as it is not clear what to use next, there is still time until 2024.
