Re: Montage page, Modernization
Don't reinvent the wheel. Use the power of CSS and overlay/extensions. I looked at your solution. Yes, it's interesting, but: - it is not possible to change the display size for each monitor. - there is no way to change the sorting and location of monitors. These are the main points why I decided t...

Re: Montage page, Modernization
Been working on that for many years myself. I made a browser extension for customization and taking away developers responsibilities to the desires of others concerning the UI/UX. I succeeded a long time ago and tried sharing, to no avail. It is just me over the years. If you want to see what my ZM ...

Re: Only admin acc work on camera?
You're right - I'm using '%' in my pass... But also, I'm using '%' in my admin passwd (and some other special char.) - I' getting warning about that, but it works... Strange. Hmm, have you tried url encoding your password for the non admin account in the Zoneminder Source field? Change any instance...

Re: Only admin acc work on camera?
Any chance that you have special characters (like @?;+:=&$) in your user camera1 password?

Re: Axis M7016
That's cool, and thanks for posting! I looked up the datasheet for that (it's basically a router with video encoders) and I think they break out the groups into four for what they called "quad view". All D1 resolution up to the quad view. I don't know how many cameras you have on the BNC e...

Re: Windows or Linux app for montage
Hi, Can't really show anything since it's all personal locations in the house. Hey Bob, for future reference, you can blur your cameras temporarily for a screenshot or video capture, if needed. Hit F12 to open the Development Console Click on 'Console' tab (if it's not already selected) Click insid...

Re: What Camera To Purchase?
So I am trying to cross reference the camera's listed in OPTIONS/CONTROL, to what Amazon has to offer and the actual model names are not matching very well. Can someone suggest a ONVIF camera with all the bells and whistles, yet won't cost an arm and a leg? Jidetech, Avertx, Amcrest 4k, and Lorex f...

Re: Is there a way to test my sw installation without cameras?
Is there a way to do a dummy test to see if there's a problem with my software installation? It seems to me that it's quite complex, like instead of a camera, use a file as video output of a camera to test the software installation. Yeah, with ffmpeg. I do it for a generated monitor that displays w...

Re: NYC DOT Real Time Traffic
Been there done that, then mine changed to TIMS mqtt. But yeah, you can with that current setup they use. Set up a libCurl https source and find the camera you want (ditch everything in the query (&t=....)). I set the resolution to the true source resolution on the test 352x240 Here is the url t...
