Two things: 1) I've written the first half of the PTZ2N control script, which works for PTZ - I've still got to code up the Focus, Iris, etc... 2) I haven't installed the newest version of ZM, so I'm not yet familiar with any changes made to the control script setup. If there's adapting to do, I'll ...

I know I had some specifics from an old V2 doc. I just haven't found it yet. Maybe post a picture of it to the Wiki? Worst case I can eavesdrop on another program that *can* control it.

Probably either a different serial pinout, different initialization sequence, or different hardware I/O (RS422). I'll know in another few minutes of Googling and scanning the archive of the previous incarnation of this machine. Before this machine died/was reborn, I had an archive of all the PolyCom...

Gimme a minute to scare up the PictureTel V2/V3 control command set and have a look...they enhanced the V1 command set (PTZ1/PTZ2 series cameras) for the subsequent cameras...

Ok, I finally got to the Sony SNC-M3W patches, control script, and Wiki page.

I'll use the Wiki page for a template for the PTZ Wiki entry sometime this week...

Or...you could download Version 3 which contains identical patch files and the latest [fully functional] control script.

The script is also available by itself.

And who knows...theWiki page section about setting up the control may even magically fill itself in...

A quick apology to all - I'll have the 1.22.3 patches done by the weekend. Thought they were done, but in the process of reloading that machine I seem to have lost them...

I think I discovered that the SNC cameras are supported under 1.22.3.

I'll check that today and post the patches if not...

Maybe even get the camera control script finished? Sorry - been working a lot lately and no free time to hack...
