Any ideas when the Eoan PPA builds will be working? I'm currently running builds from source but it would be nice to be able to upgrade with a simple apt.

So, it seems zoneminder was pulling debian-sys-maint@localhost from the definer for the triggers under zones and events in the SQL database. I changed it to zmuser@localhost and now it's working fine. For whoever next has this issue, hopefully you don't have to grep a string on your whole hard drive...

So in the end it had nothing to do with passwords really, I dumped the DB and switched over to MariaDB instead of mysql 8 and now it's working.

So.. this mostly seems to be a problem after upgrading from mysql 5.7 to mysql 8 (since ubuntu 19.10 doesn't have a 5.7 package). Is there any known way to get login working after upgrading to mysql 8?

Also, the password hash before I blanked it was "*4ACFE3202A5FF5CF467898FC58AAB1D615029441" which from some googling is the hash for "admin" which is what the password was. It's also a very old mysql PASSWORD function hash, which is why it probably wasn't working post-upgrade. I ...
