I also have the exact same issue with the same cameras. Starts with a slight distortion to image and within a couple min the image is completely blurred. I can connect the same stream while am is showing a pink blur with vlc and it looks fine. I'm also on ubuntu 16.04 and updated ffmpeg with no succ...
