Re: Need a bit of help with shadows and motion alarms

the solution is darknet and Yolo... I'm still to this day tweaking my shadow settings but I have zones that are so far away I can't do much about it or I lose actual events I guess. I even looked at things as far as calculating total score for events. this also didn't prove any help because sometime...

Re: HTTP Error when adding attachments

I had the same issue it may be the IDS or whatever app filtering they have on this app/host. Here some things to try:
* smaller image
* use an image share site and just put the IMG tag
* make a new post on the thread ( that is what I had to do because I think my post was too much text )

Re: Best CPU solution

IMO ...(new to ZM too ) It's all about FPS if you drop everything to 5 FPS you be good. Some things to keep in mind * use low res to capture motion and dump HD stream to NAS or something like rclone/google drive * use low FPS on source in VM and the cam (make sure ZM is higher then the cam ) * if it...

Re: Ffmpeg and smearing issues

I had smearing issues almost GONE for two days. Got the new replacement cam (reolink ... ) woke up and had 300+ events.. maybe it has something do with with the camera when it switches to night mode... seems to me it does. * restarted cam * restarted switch * restarted zm * also see the post about s...

Re: Zoneminder Darknet yolov2 tiny Hack

I first wanted to say thanks for still supporting ZM I used it 10 years ago and it's still great software! I just took me quite a bit longer to get it right this time. Some issues I think I had * bad wireing .. (I had yellow/green light and I rewired and got solid green on my POE swtich ) * I was se...

Zoneminder Darknet yolov2 tiny Hack

UPDATE 8:55 PM 4/18/2018: I gave up on trying to figure out syslog/logrotate and just running tail -F --retry on the normal /var/log/zm/* path...my script would stop working every time the log file rotated. I could never figure out why my logs stopped going to my external mount and I still have not ...

Re: Reolink RLC-410 Data Streams

I gave up on ZoneMinder... I could never get the quality anywhere near the live feed. Good idea on using both streams so I guess I could use zoneminder at 640 480 for motion but I have been looking at CNN and crazy YOLOv2 stuff. This example uses GPU so your CPU does not suffer # compile from source...
