To add to this though, every click would open in the same existing window, would be nice to have it open a new window(tab...) for each click separately.

Currently you can only restrict induvidual monitors to users.

It would be a great help if this also included groups, so users don't have to be updated induvidually on changes, just the group itself.

The zoneminder navbar tells you how many connections there are currently and what your max is. You should keep an eye on that. Whilst its good to see the status - what help is it to the user?
