Re: Can't find a way to disable/enable cameras any more

Okay, to get rid of this on/off display error, I've simply recreated the camera where the bug came up and now I can't reproduce the problem so case closed on that. Thanks for explaining where the camera on/off toggle is! :D

Re: Can't find a way to disable/enable cameras any more

@doug I'm on Ubuntu 20.04.5. Unfortunately, the server is my only linux machine right now, but I would guess if I recreate the camera, the problem might be gone anyway. @iconnor The server automatically reboots after unattended upgrades during the night and I can't guarantee there might have been a ...

Re: Can't find a way to disable/enable cameras any more

Hmm, I've tried with FF, Chrome and IE now, cleared caches too, shift reloaded. Restarted the Zoneminder server just in case, still shows up green and "capturing" even though it's clearly off when you open the live view. Shows status as grey checkmark on the zmNinja app on my phone. Weird ...

Re: Can't find a way to disable/enable cameras any more

Then again, wait a minute... I have a monitor already set to Capturing=none and it's still showing up green and "capturing"

That might be a good idea, I was kinda lost where it went. Thanks!

Can't find a way to disable/enable cameras any more

I have two sets of cameras that switch on and off automatically via Run States on nightfall and daybreak. On older versions of ZoneMinder, you used to be able to click the "Function" column in your Console overview next to a camera to be able to disable/enable it. This is no longer possibl...

Re: zmNinja bandwidth usage rather high even with lbm?

Thank you for your reply. I've had some time to test this again, and it seems like I've misunderstood how the low bandwidth mode actually works. It only does something on the montage screen, not on a single camera monitor. Two minutes on the montage screen with lbm on actually uses 3.8 MB for me, so...

zmNinja bandwidth usage rather high even with lbm?

I feel like my zmNinja still uses a lot of mobile data even when switched to low bandwidth mode. I have just four active cameras configured at a time in montage and you can see well over 50MB of data getting used every minute. Would there be a way to maybe drastically reduce the framerate or somethi...

Re: alarms and zones

A 'blackbird-sized' area, around the centre of the large grass area is about 0,4% of the zone. Clearly, the blackbird should not have triggered an alarm set to minimum size 1%. ;-) If you put it like that, that sounds very logical. However, can you even go in between 0% and 1%? Because as I've unde...

Re: alarms and zones

I'm having similar problems with getting the motion detection to work 100%. I'm sure that it's just me not understanding the zone configuration correctly, so maybe somebody can offer some advice. This is the image I am working with right now: https://s32.postimg.org/8a4376qp1/image.jpg I've been con...

zmNinja - Password in log as plain text

I've just tried the Android mobile app zmNinja (V 1.1.96), which works great, is awesome and I love you. However, when opening the log view, there seems to be a string with your complete account credentials and ZM URL in plain text, including your password. Could this not get blanked out or something?

Re: Batch delete generated videos from events?

I hint to FFMPEG that it should use another path totally :) If there's no built-in way in Zoneminder, I think this might be the "cleanest" way to do it. This way, your .avi files to not get split up everywhere, but stay tidy in one directory. Only downside is, that you can't delete those ...

Batch delete generated videos from events?

Is there a way to easily batch delete all generated videos attached to multiple events? There's an easy way to "Create video for all matches" via the filter system, but I can't find a way to delete already generated videos in a similar fashion while keeping the events (.jpg's). You could m...
