Bring back the good old days when you knew where everything was and you built it from scratch..... dammed that YUMm thing!...

Well re-installed FC4 (again for the upteenth time!).... It builds to a point then dies off now... Command Line: ./configure --with-webdir=/var/www/html/zm --with-libarch=lib64 --with-cgidir=/var/www/cgi-bin --with-mysql=/usr/lib64 Results with all OK untill... checking for mysql_init in -lmysqlclie...

Ah... Fedore Core 4 at the moment.... I'll look into it, I have no end of probs at teh moment... dammed new technology, knew I should have stuck with the old :)

I've taken a look through the log file but dont seem to be able to see where the problem is... I note g++ doesnt get found however, but not sure if that's the cause.

Wow well I'm back, been away playing with mythtv :) ZM has performed great untill now however... though I dont think it is a fault of ZM... I have taken the plunge and built a new beast, 2G AMDx2 64Bit thing and 2G or RAM and a huge amount of storage (got to put the goat pron somewhere ;) )... it's ...

You're right, no change with the updates. However... Placed the url of my Axis video server in the txt file 4 times as suggested and I get as far as the buttons on top etc. No video though. So it must be an error in the strings I was putting in for the local zm server (which may also be the problem ...

yeah please do as i dont know what this is. Im not sure how it will work on all distros as its only tested to work on redhat and suse. It says you need GTK+ 2.0 or higher glibc-2.3 or higher and CUPS for some reason (its a printing thing) What distro you on and what spec of machine? James Aha... I ...

Done it.....

Created a filter with a "delete all matches" set, ran it for the time period, then restarted ZM.

View all now works as well :)

Blank screen in the view all with IE... it would be handy if it worked as there are about 1200 pages to delete :lol:

I tried the view all and still get the code listed in the original post above in the window instead of all the listings. This is with Opera Win32. I will try IE and see what happens.

Whilst working on some stuff for work, the server has been happily recording the view outside my house.... somehow it has timewarped back to the 70's. Nothing has happened to the system clock from what I can see.! I also noticed that when I click on view all in the events window, I get the following...
