Re: Reolink RLC-410 Data Streams

Hi! I'm on v1.32.2. RLC-410 via FFMPEG smears crazy. Cannot get Remote / RTSP to work. Here's the config, can someone validate? Any news on the smearing over ffmpeg?

Thanks!

Re: PurgeWhenFull with External Storage

I think this may be a problem with the way I mounted it. I gave the CIFS share a quota of 100GB, but when I execute df-h, the Ubuntu vm sees the whole NAS device capacity:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
//IP/sec/zm 2.7T 1.8T 954G 66% /media/zm

Any ideas?

PurgeWhenFull with External Storage

Hello, I am having trouble with the PurgeWhenFull filter. Is the filter working with Network Shares? I have a CIFS share mounted to /media/zm and the events and images directories mounted to it like so: /media/zm/images /var/cache/zoneminder/images none defaults, bind 0 2 /media/zm/events /var/cache/...

Re: socket_sendto errors when viewing feeds

I have CHECK_FOR_UPDATES unchecked since the installation, just as I was being told in the wiki.

Getting socket_sendto errors all the time, when an event happens:

Re: socket_sendto errors when viewing feeds

I've had this same problem since I installed 1.29 after a recent server rebuild. Did you guys install from packages or from source? I used the ubuntu packages myself, but am really considering rebuilding it from source sometime today. I installed using this official wiki entry: https://wiki.zonemin...

Re: socket_sendto errors when viewing feeds

@jasauders: Do you have any filters with email notification activated? Try disabling them. See if error still occurs. @bbunge: I did several restarts yesterday. I am still getting the error messages. Meanwhile, ZM actually tried to send 1 mail which went to the nullmailer queue. However, it did not ...

Re: socket_sendto errors when viewing feeds

Hey jasauders, I was just about to open a thread on this problem for my own. I have the exact same problem! I may have the answer to your question, though. But we still need a solution. I am receiving tons of socket_sendto( /var/run/zm/zms-*********.sock ) failed: No such file or directory after I a...

Re: CIFS-Share mounted in Ubuntu: Can't symlink - Can't chown ("Permission denied")

Thanks for your reply, mikb!

With your help I could figure out the real problem did not lie within CIFS permissions. Instead it was the rather obvious option "Allow symbolic links within shared folders" in the CIFS settings on the NAS. It now works, thank you.

CIFS-Share mounted in Ubuntu: Can't symlink - Can't chown ("Permission denied")

Hi! I am new to Zoneminder. Before I used Synology Surveillance Station, but with 3+ Foscams the NAS is being brought to it's limits. So I created a Ubunto vm and now I want to store my ZM recordings on my Synology NAS (ds212+). Mounted a CIFS-Share to my Ubuntu-Zoneminder-VM with the following fsta...
