i setup a new system and im installing everything but im having an issue installing the event server. i downloaded the new version via git and when i run install.sh i get this error. i think its something to do with pip and the readme says to use pipx? im not sure how to do that. sudo -H pip3 -v ...

i cant save files, it says permission denied, yet i dont see anywhere in the app settings to allow it to have permission.
all the permissions the app asks for are granted.

i know i can just go in the settings and tell it to use the new drive, but that would leave all its files on the old drive and i dont think the system would see them? do i just mount the new drive and go in and move all the files from the old drive and then change the settings? i would like to do it ...

There isn't. There is a tool zmeventtool.pl, which you can use with a filter to delete them later. We need to not be creating them. It's a hack.. Working on it. Could use some funding. so i was checking my drive and i noticed that an old camera that i took out and replaced still has some videos on one of my drives. i have purge when full enabled and its at 99%. when i go into zm and i click on the total events down at the bottom, it loads those old videos as the first few pages ...
