Re: Zoneminder stops working on USB cams - lots of errors

I am still having problems. If noone is at home, zoneminder works fine. If there's some motion though, it stops with no reason. Here's the log Jul 10 13:05:02 odroid-server zma_m3[21579]: INF [Eisodos: 35000 - Analysing at 3.97 fps] Jul 10 13:05:02 odroid-server rsyslogd-2007: action 'action 9' susp...

Re: Restart Zoneminder Automatically

For some reason, my zoneminder goes into the stop state at random times.
I want to setup a cron job for checking if it's running, and if not restart it.
I know how to start it by invoking /usr/bin/zmpkg.pl xxx (where xxx=state)
but how can I check if it's running?

Re: Zoneminder stops working on USB cams - lots of errors

I had a previous setup on the exactly same machine, running Ubuntu 14.04 and Zoneminder 1.25 without any problems. I had dropped to 4fps but the problem was the same. I now changed Buffers settings to: Image buffer size -> 250 Warmup Grames & Pre event image count -> 50 Post Event image count -> 75 ...

Zoneminder stops working on USB cams - lots of errors

Hello, my setup is ZM 1.29 on ODROID XU4, Ubuntu server 16.04LTS with 3x USB cameras. Two of these USB cameras monitor the same room, but one of them has infrared night vision, so only one of these work, depending the time of the day. So essentially I have 2 USB cams working simultaneously. I have t...

CPU usage of zm processes

Hello, I'm running Zoneminder 1.26.5 on my ODROID XU4, running Ubuntu server 14.04. I use it to detect motion from 3 USB webcams (25fps, 320x240) I installed and setup everything correctly, the webcams show image correctly, but I'm concerned about the CPU usage of the zm processes. Here's the output...
