Cameras work in montage view, but stuttering when viewed individually

I am running Zoneminder v1.36.12 on a Core2Duo E6550 2.33Ghz. I have 2 cameras set to 4 FPS and using the low res streams (640x360). They are both set to Monitor (no mocord or modect yet). The issue I have is that in Montage view, the cams are fine. They are working as expected and the videos are up...

Event duration while playing back is very long

I am running Zoneminder 1.32.3 on Ubuntu 18.04, installed via iconnor's zoneminder-1.32 PPA. I have events with durations that make sense in the console (~10-30 seconds), but when I go to play them back, they become very long (1,000+ seconds, and I've seen durations of 20,000+ seconds) and don't act...

No and yes. The best way to find out answers to questions like that is to go to the website of the server motherboard manufacturer and read the manual. Fair enough. Thanks. You either need to leave both the MAX FPS and Alarm MAX FPS field empty, or make sure the values you use are never less than the actual fps value of the incoming stream. Otherwise you get exactly the symptoms you just described. I came across this while trying to setup a "mocord" monitor ...
