Re: Beginners Problem
Hi Goddi, I have ZM 1.29.0 installed on CentOS 7 and it works well. It looks like you have a linux problem, not a ZoneMinder issue. Is your journaling system running at all? Execute "systemctl status systemd-journald.service" What is the output of 'ls -l /run/systemd/journal'. Are there an...

No Server ID or Name specified in config
Hi Team, Has anybody noticed a log entry in ZoneMinder when using ZmNinja (it's a wonderful piece of software). Entry goes like this "No Server ID or Name specified in config. Not using Multi-Server Mode". It is an "undef" undefined informational error. Located in "zm_config...

Re: Installation issues with ZM 1.28.1 and CentOS 6.6 (Minim
I am currently running CentOS 6.5 (minimal) as a VM, with Zoneminder installed. It looks after 4 IP camera's and works quite well. First thing to do is check the URL below. http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/CentOS#Zmrepo_-_A_ZoneMinder_repository_for_RPM_based_distros I do have a basic instal...

Re: New problem - camera goes red
Just a thought, could you clear any entries you have in the Maximum FPS and Alarm Maximum FPS fields (make them blank). My camera's were going red in Zoneminder (but streaming via VLC worked fine), by clearing these fields, ZM has not missed a beat since. The cameras are already set to 15 FPS intern...

Re: Monitor turns red after several hours
Hi tduncklee, Two suggestions, 1. Disable off SELINUX and reboot the system. Reason - SELINUX has been known to cause all sorts of strange issues. 2. In the ZoneMinder configuration for the camera. Remove any entries in "Maximum FPS" and "Alarm Maximum FPS". In the Camera configu...

Re: Monitor turns red after several hours
Hi Team, I had a similar issue with 3 IP camera's (Dahua IP-HFW2100). The display for camera's would go red after a few minutes. It took me a while but I managed to work out the problem. Essentially iptables were stopping the feed. My test, to see if iptables was the problem was very simple. From th...
