Not sure the relevance of the HEVC stats.
Good luck with it and let us know how it works out.

Re: Hardware acceleration(GPU) on Jetson Nano?
Jetson AGX Xavier and a suitable drive would be fine for running ZM. Add on the zmeventnotification server to do some object or face recognition and you'd be sorted. Performance mode is only about 30 watts. I don't know how many high resolution cameras it could manage. You'd have to compare with a ...

Re: Recommendation for outdoor camera?
Have a look at Hikvision turrets. It'll have to be an old one to be HD res. It won't be wireless and I think that's a good thing.

Re: Hardware acceleration(GPU) on Jetson Nano?
I was doing a search for Zoneminder and Jetson, which led here. Did you progress it?
I think you’d want ffmpeg to use the hardware decoder and encoder rather than the obvious answer to use the GPU. It looks like there is support for that now.

Thanks for the useful tutorial. Being able to restrict ANPR to just the road area was helpful.

Re: Virtual Appliance
I'm guessing Docker took over from this. There isn't great support for the Docker images, but the ZMDocker image seems to build and run. I presume it's too niche, but might take off eventually.

Zoneminder API/ZMNinja borked in 1.31.44
I was forced down the upgrade path after the Gentoo ebuild of 1.30.4 started building ZMC and a few components that segfaulted. I failed to fix that and cloned the git repository and scratch built. The build went ok. Lacked a couple of Perl bits but sorted those emerge -av dev-perl/File-Slurp emerge ...

Re: ZMNinja 1.3.003 IOS Three Green Dots
Throw it away is how to close the app on an IOS device.
It's as broken as before, but now works on first launch and then breaks on second open. This is just the reverse of before.

First launch it works.
Open it again and get 3 dots.
Throw away, then it works.
Save unchanged settings and it also works.

Re: ZMNinja 1.3 IOS Three Green Dots
Okay, found an error: 1. If you don't have auth enabled in ZM 2. But you have auth enabled in zmNinja this problem occurs. I'll be pushing a fix, but in the mean time, if 1 is true for you, remove auth in zmNinja and try I don't have ZM auth or basic auth selected in zmNinja on any of the devices.
