I have managed to get 1.25.1 going without any errors or glitches. I am tempted to leave it alone now. I'll will try again in a few months when I have more time. Hopefully an update will be out by then.

Thanks for answering. I am running version 1.26.5 on Centos 6.5. When I do a clean install of 1.25.0 everything is fine.

Just in case anyone else has the same problem. Check the permissions of the PHP Sessions folder. On CentOS 6.3 this is /var/lib/php/session
