Re: Only Update Diskspace forum running

Thanks, you're quite right - the filter is running, just not logging :D

Sorry to waste your time on that - just assumed it wasn't because of the lack of log files. Thanks for the commands below, very helpful.

Only Update Diskspace forum running

Somehow my zoneminder version has ended up on 1.37.25 (development version) but that's fine. It's working well and I'm happy to report / work with a bleeding edge installation. What I have noticed (not sure if this is new to the version) is that the only background filter that is running is the &quo...

Re: Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

Montage view - I think the original creator put this bit in as a stub to fill out later and then never got back to it. It would be great, I agree. I've done a little digging and there seem to be two ways of tackling this- 1 - Have Kodi display multiple video streams and then montage view basically o...

Re: Nubie: Questions on Settings

... So it appears that once an alarm is triggered by light, the alarm continues long after that trigger. No idea how to address this. If I'm not mistaken, this may be related to your Reference Image Blend %ge or Alarm Reference Image Blend %ge settings on the monitor (not the zone). Can you post th...

Re: Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

Hi Peter Glad it is working for you and sorry I haven't had a chance to work on this for a while. Keeps getting pushed down the to-do list. Sadly, I don't know anything about montage view. I think it is something spargopolis (see his comments earlier in the thread) was starting to add but I'm not su...

Re: Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

Hello jes I'm afraid I don't have an SSL server set up to test with so it would be a bit of a shot in the dark for me. If you like, try the following - backup the /home/osmc/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.zoneminder-master/default.py and then replace its contents with the code at the following link http:...

Re: Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

It seems the script is not able to grab the html pages it requires. Whether this is due to some issue with HTTPS or just a path / network issue we'll have to figure out. I don't have my zm running on HTTPS so I haven't tested it and I'm not sure anyone has? If anyone has this running with HTTPS plea...

Re: Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

After inadvertently upgrading zoneminder to 1.29 due to an ubuntu update, I found the existing plugin not working due to some changes in the event listing files so I've updated the plugin to fix this. Hopefully it is backward compatible to 1.28.x (I've tried to make it so). In addition, I've added a...

Zoneminder plugin for Kodi/XBMC

Hi all Wasn't sure which board to post in so chose this one since the plugin works with 1.28.1. This may be of interest to those using the Kodi ( http://kodi.tv/ ) media centre (formerly known as XBMC). Basically, this plugin allows viewing of camera feeds through Kodi via the zoneminder streamer. T...

Re: Need a bit of help with shadows and motion alarms

I've found preclusive zones to work well for eliminating certain light change events like shadows and, in one part, car headlights. I choose a small area of constant colour that shouldn't be triggered by real motion, for example a part of a wall that is quite high above normal traffic areas. I then ...

Extend Alarm Frame Count - explanation?

Hi Can anyone tell me the purpose of the above field - "Extend Alarm Frame Count" in the zone setup? It is the first time I've noticed it - not sure if it was introduced in 1.27 or 1.28. Just curious and hoping to understand more for configuring my zones. thanks for the great software. James
