How to increase Alarm Frame Count?

Hi, Running on 'Mocord', I would like to copy any and all alarm frames to an off-site storage location. While bumping up pre-event and post-event image counts provides a comprehensive picture of what happened immediately before and after an event, the actual alarm frame count appears to stay the sam...

Re: Filtering: Syntax for Signal Lost Event?

My apologies for being a bit unclear in my initial posting. I would like to get notified by e-mail about a signal loss for any of those cameras. This appears to be working for 'Signal: Reacquired' events but not for 'Signal: Lost'. Kudos, BTW, for your great work explaining ZM's zoning system! This ...

Re: Filtering: Syntax for Signal Lost Event?

Well, to add insult to injury, a 'Signal: Reacquired' will actually trigger a filterable event (via 'cause' => 'Signal'). Same daemon (zm_monitor) AFAIK, so where do I need to start digging?

Re: Filtering: Syntax for Signal Lost Event?

Hey,

I think you might be on to something here :) Before I go a bash-ing my log entries, can someone please confirm?

Bests, Mike

Filtering: Syntax for Signal Lost Event?

Hi, Some of my IP cams will occasionally crap out on me with a 'Signal: Lost' log file entry. What's the nomenclature for this in filter speak? So far, I've tried [Notes|Cause] + [equal to|matches] + 'Signal: Lost', but to no avail. This is Zoneminder v. 1.25.0 on a Debian 7.6 box with working e-mai...

Separate Storage Location for Alarm Frames?

Not really a version-related question, but this (1.24.2 on Debian Wheezy) is what I am using, so this is where it goes ;) I am running five feeds in 'mocord' mode but would like to send all _alarm_ frames to an off-premises (cloud?) storage location. This should be done as close to real time as poss...

Re: Remote Event Storage

Well, I haven't put much thought into this lately as I'm still waiting for my bandwidth upgrade. My reasoning follows pretty much along the lines you laid out in your posting. Apart from theft and/or vandalism, I'm looking at a somewhat volatile environment that, as a worst-case scenario, will leave...

Remote Event Storage

Hi, This doesn't really fit in any of the other categories, so I dropped it here. Please feel free to point me to a more appropriate forum. I am doing some tweaking and testing on a local box right now but would like to mocord to a remote storage location eventually. 'Remote' as in 'off-premises'; p...
