For me I found the problem.
After change the owner with
chown -R www-data:www-data /var/cache/zoneminder/events
chown -R www-data:www-data/var/cache/zoneminder/images
it works.
Hope I can help someone with this information.

can someone explain me, why not zm 1.25.0 is in the repo of debian? Are there some problems?
If not, can someone help me to make the update.
I try beginning with the ./configure - command; but I don't know exactly wich params to use.
My first tries ending all with an error.
