Re: No more red outlines on analysis frames

Thanks for your help knnniggett! I was able to rebuild and install the latest master package and the red outlines are now back! FYI, for anyone else following along, I'm on 14.04 LTS and I followed these instructions: http://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installationguide/ubuntu.html#harder-wa...

Re: No more red outlines on analysis frames

Gotcha - well, since what I did was just replace those 3 files on top of the zoneminder 1.30.0-trusty debian package as installed from iconnor's ppa, I think I will have to be more thorough and attempt to build a full replacement .deb file from the git code checkout. I've never done that before; is ...

Re: No more red outlines on analysis frames

So I have partial success with this patch. What now works: From ZM Console in classic web mode, click on the number of Events to show the list of events; a new window pops up with the list of events. Click on the Event name (i.e. Event-1). A new window open which starts the playback of the events no...

Re: No more red outlines on analysis frames

Thanks knnniggett.

I replaced that with my /usr/share/zoneminder/www/skins/classic/views/frame.php file on my installation and restarted with CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES checked and I don't see any difference. Do I need to restart or flush any apache bits to make sure the php file isn't cached anywhere?

No more red outlines on analysis frames

So, first the good news. Zoneminder 1.29 updated to 1.30.0 on my ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS and everything seemed to go smoothly without any user input on my part! The bad news is that it appears the red outlines on my analysis images are gone! The alarm frames are there, and it still appears to triggering ...

Re: [WORKAROUND] "Smearing" on H.264 RTSP Cameras

Hey, just thought I'd post to some folks out there who are still struggling with applying this patch. I also have the "smearing" issue because of the UDP bug in Ubuntu. I'm running Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS 64-bit and the default Zoneminder package is 1.26.5. In order to get a patched binary...

Re: Thousands of Blue Screen events on remote IP cameras

Are you using http, rtsp, or ffmpeg to grab your images?

Axis M3114 works

I have 3 Axis M3114 cameras and I have them all working with h264 streaming with no errors! My setup: ubuntu server 12.04 LTS 32-bit You *must* use Original ffmpeg. The libav ffmpeg that ubuntu supplies if you do apt-get install zoneminder will NOT work. It will appear to work for about 10-30 second...

Re: h.264 and Axis m3011

I don't have this Axis camera (I have an m1011 and several M3114s) and I didn't notice that adding the tcp flag to the URL did anything differently. All of the traffic seems to endup going over tcp anyway and I still would get the streaming errors like that periodically. For me what ended up working...

Re: ZM 1.25 and Motion detection

You're on the right track. Pre-buffers and post-buffers need to be big enough to actually handle 5 seconds. (take the number of frames per second you're averaging and multiply it times 5 and that's how big your pre- and post image counts need to be). However, it seems like your problem is that you'r...

Re: How to install

I downloaded package but when I give make install a lot of errors appears.... (variable not configured... etc.) I've newer to Linux OS, but version 1.24 did'nt required a lot of set-up Since it's your first time out, I think you'd find life a lot easier if you used one of the pre-build packages bas...

Re: ffmpeg replaced by avconv? (debian)

I hope that Zoneminder will have the option of using original ffmpeg like it does currently. I just finished figuring out that my Axis M3114 camera is not compatible with the latest libav (avconv), and that I needed to install the most recent ffmpeg to get it to work.

Re: Axis M3114 h264 on ffmpeg ubuntu 12.04

I finally figured it out, after much installing and re-installing. :) Short answer is: you need the Original ffmpeg, NOT libav. The two are not going to play well together on your box at once (I tried, had all kinds of library conflicts trying to run a separate copy for Zoneminder while leaving liba...

Axis M3114 h264 on ffmpeg ubuntu 12.04

Hi there! Long time lurker, first time poster! I've had Zoneminder running on my cameras grabbing static images for a long time now; I finally decided to get h264 working to see if I could reduce my network bandwidth. However, I've noticed I have a problem with three of my cameras, which are all Axi...
