1.36.X should be included in the 24.04 release. However, it likely will require special setup instructions as installing Zoneminder from the Ubuntu repositories may not set up the database.
I will look into this as time permits. Am a busy retired guy after all...

Re: Custom resolution of 4000x3000
Under Source/Capture Resolution you should be able to manually enter your "custom" resolution. I cannot tell you how I missed that those fields are editable. Thank you for answering this idiot question without murdering me :) Well, it is good to do no harm and leave nothing behind except ...

Re: Best way to set up server for Zoneminder??
The easiest is to use a single LAN port and let your DHCP server assign IP addresses to the cameras and server. A static Ip address is a good idea for the server, however. As you have a second LAN port, you can set up a separate LAN for the cameras which will be isolated from your main LAN. I would ...

Re: downgrade 1.36 to 1.34
I've looked at you other posts. If you are running an old analog capture card the problem may be with the capture card and not Zoneminder. I seem to recall issues with old analog hardware on more recent Linux distros. I can't point to a source, however. Debian 11 may detect the card but not give ful...

Re: purgewhenfull does not list matches but works in the background
Well, when the filter runs in the background it deletes the first 100 matches. The question is how far below 20% does this take your storage? If you run the filter manually and the disk is not over 20% you will get no matches. I find purge when full to not be a good way to manage storage. It is bett...

No. Not unless you saved a backup of the zm database before you upgraded.
But, I need to ask why you want to downgrade?
