It strill works in 1.37.17~20220617173405-bionic but in later releases(not sure which) it was broken and is still broken.

I have exactly the same problem with ubuntu 12.04 and zm 1.25.0 from they're repos.
Tried every suggestion from here, but nothing helps

after Systemupgrade I'm also affected.
hope anyone find a solution.

using the .deb is not an option. But i have tested and it is failed.

Today evening I will try using the zoneminderpackage from ubuntu repository.

But it would be interesting if anybody has zoneminder compiled under ubuntu 12.04 without problems...
