There was a recent fix that went into 1.36.15 that removed a timeout. It could be that issue is your problem. It just takes too long to generate the zip. What version are you running? Yeah dependencies for bionic are screwed up. Problem with PPA is that I can't change the source while keeping the same version. So I'll have to release 1.36.16 soon.

You could pull those dependencies from either an older or newer ubuntu. It's a hack job for sure.
