I have a UVC video camera and wonder…
have found a lot of posts about this but none are up to date…
how can I get a UVC camera working ?

tibetfreedom, those mysql commands should be given in the setup guide. If you've followed the guide properly you wouldn't have had this issue. You can find the zm_create.sql file by running: sudo updatedb locate zm_create.sql OH that works thanks… Odd I can't connect to mysql from the command lin ...

Did you import the tables & created + granted the zmuser database access, as instructed on the installation guides? I could not find any import script or import data… I created a database and made sure it had a user which is also accessable via ZM using the default database user name and password. ...

Hi I plumbed for the latest debian,
however I can't seem to install zoneminder with apt-install zoneminder…
I am obviously missing quite a lot…

The easiest would be to write a script that use rsync to sync the folder contents of the stored videos where motion was detected with the remote server's folder. I would like to upload video constantly to the internet, r at least when there is movement.
Is this possible ? I imagine it is.
I loked at comercial systems but this did not seem to be a feature, however with ZoneMinder I guess it is just an exercise in programming ?
