I'm using 10 Axis2100 (4 on motion, the rest just for viewing) on a Duron1,4Ghz with massive load (3-4). Unfortunately, that's definitely too weak hardware I guess...

Maybe when I get back and have more time I'll make a 32bit version, meanwhile I believe I got most of the problems worked out with the 64bit one. I posted an updated link and people are more then welcome to try it out. I switched it back to ubuntu for the desktop and problems went away wtih logging...
