Maybe if you use vlc for generate the stream from a file avi, and then use ffmpeg, like a source i think that's is posible.

I have the same issue, but the mmap not work properly, only can see the stream swf in low resolution, really i don't know wich it s the problem.
please, can you tellme more about your configuration?

after try many times with different configuration, i think this error it`s about shared memory, because when i set mpeg(swf) low resolution and 1/2 scale work well,more than this, not work, maybe the ffmpeg encoder need more memory for create swf live stream, because with asf work ok, but have buffe...

set zoneminder stream to jpeg, and use firefox for android...work well.

The solutions is: resolution=640X368 not 480.
For high resolution, you need more shared memory, and work well...
