I think if the local as well as the remote camera configuration are having problems in the Ubuntu.Then use it with the PWC drivers and the built in microphone works. Generally Webcams on Ubuntu have been a complete nightmare! poor quality picture which goes all sorts of strange colours.

The camera will make any folder you create in motion detection settings page on the ftp server.The result of the camera is also very fantastic.

This camera is quite cool.The megacam is actually very useful outside of this apartment. Make sure you download the latest firmware TE ABS.com site - it allows an outdoor mode.

I think their is other problem in your Lenel security systems card.I had also tried it and it work properly so I would like to suggest that check your card.
