I upgraded from 1.21.0 to 1.21.3 and the streaming stopped working in firefox. Changing from hashed to plain authentication (AUTH_METHOD) fixes the problem. I use a Hauppage! ImpactVCB 4 input PCI tv card. In fact I think it only supports 3 inputs and I actually only managed to get Composite 1 working. Incidentally the nph-zms setting DOESN'T work with firefox native streaming - presumably that's why you supply both!

No - I must have lost that setting somewhere along the line. Back to nph-zms now and the streaming's fine with cambozola.

Thanks Phil, I copied cambozola.jar into zm, changed CAN_STREAM to 'no' and it 'works'. It's an appalling picture, all half frames and strange colours but I guess that's cambozola rather than zm. To save trekking backwards and forwards to the live system, I've brought the events directory home with me with a dozen or so recorded events - is there a way to insert these events into a blank system to test the streaming here?

Nope! Same problem with 1.18 Aaargh! It was working before. For now I've re-installed 1.19 and left it with CAN-STREAM as NO so that at least it works with stills. OK - I completely removed and rebuilt, dropping the database as you suggested.
