Do the filters change when the run state changes? I'd prefer to keep the cameras in modetect mode all the time, with notifications sent only when the system is 'armed'.

I'd like to figure out how to setup either a physical (switch) or a button on the web interface that would enable a Home/Away mode so that motion events only while the system is in away mode would trigger a sms message, video upload or email message (basically anything in the filters). I've searched...

Downgrade

Frustrated to the point of downgrading. 1.23.3 is running much smoother than any of the 1.24.x versions.

I guess I'll wait to upgrade until the next patch comes out.

On Ubuntu I think I have solved this problem with a sudo apt-get install libcache-mmap-perl *hopefully* edit: Nope, it was just teasing.......and for the record mine does it infrequently on the LAN, but *very* regularly on WAN. I'm thinking of downgrading to 1.23 which works great at my other site.
