Monitor problem - ffmpeg source mjpeg stream

Hi. I'm trying to get a stream from one IP camera. I'm adding new camera in monitor mode, set source as ffmpeg, and source path as http://x.x.x.x:8008 I get error "Unable to locate video stream in http://x.x.x.x:8008" I'm able to record the stream to a file from the console: ffmpeg -f mjpe...

Timestamping on JPEGs charset

I've searched allover the forum and didn't find info about the character encoding when timestamping captured images. As I understood, it's using "printf" to put the timestamp on the image, and it's using ASCII rather than any other encoding. Is there any chance to make cyrillic and non-sta...

OK, frame skip applies only to mocord and record, so, i'm using mocord. I'm sure I don't get the meaning of "how many frames should be skipped in the recorded events" because I don't want to skip frames in the recorded events. Resolution is 640x480, 8 port bt878 card, 25FPS per channel, di...

CPU utilization and alarm check method

Hi. I've noticed, that if Alarm Check Method is set to Alarmed Pixels, CPU utilization for one channel is around 8-10 percent. Setting it as Blobs starts to use the CPU at 100%. Zoneminder is latest version, on Fedora Core 13 x86. Does someone has similar behavior of monitor zone alarm check method?

Zoneminder on FC11_i386

After having many troubles on FC11 x64 with libav* things and ffmpeg, I've reinstalled my pc with a fc11 i386. I've made the installation that way: (i'm a linux newbie, so don't laugh loud if I'm wrong a lot) A brand new linux install (Fedora Core 11 i386) on E5200 with 3W9650 4x500GB/RAID10, 4GB RA...
