Re: Problems controlling an Apexis J901 PTZ camera

IHR, did you ever get any resolution to your problem? I'm having the same issues wit hthe same camera following the ZM wiki. I can control the camera via sending the correct URL from a broswer, but when I try to control the camera via ZM, I get the following in the logs: Apr 17 10:43:54 cctv zmcontr...

Re: "nocord" option

mastertheknife I see what you're driving at but I don't use zmtrigger.pl with in-camera motion detection. My scanario is this: Camera runs in modect mode and creates some alarms based on motion. But when my burglar alarm goes off, I send a TCP request (from another server) to zmtrigger.pl telling al...

Re: ZM 1.25.0 Performance Patch - Completed

These commands simply take care of libjpeg-turbo's header files and the static library. The correct libjpeg.so still needs to be loaded. There are few days to do this, the easiest one is to replace the standard libjpeg.so with the one from libjpeg-turbo's by copying /opt/libjpeg-turbo/lib into /usr...

Re: ZM 1.25.0 Performance Patch - Completed

beerygaz, Thank you! The reason you are seeing "Bogus input colorspace" is because standard libjpeg is being loaded, instead of libjpeg-turbo which is required for BGR24 or 32bit. About zmtrigger.pl, thanks for reporting, i'll look into this. mastertheknife Cn you tell me how to comile li...

Re: ZM 1.25.0 Performance Patch - Completed

Firstly I'd like to applaud your work and innovation. I'm really looking forward to the interlacing code, especially. I compiled your source but can only get my cameras (local via bt878) to work in greyscale. If I select BGR24 (and 24-bit color) or BGR32 I get the following errors: Mar 3 08:28:37 dv...

"nocord" option

I record a camera 24/7 in case I need to review footage, but want to include zmtrigger events in the recording for specific events to make them easy to spot. mocord does this for motion, but there's no similar option for remote triggering. It seems like something that would be quite simple to add - ...

Mocord & Nodect Hybrid

I'd like to be able to record all the time at a low fram rate and then record specific events at higher frame rates. Mocord seems the most likely candidate, with constant recording but alarm frames highlighted, however, I don't trigger alarms based on motion detection, but external events via zmtrig...

Re: RTSP Assistance

Nope, stuck with MJPEG right now, which seem to be a slower frame rate and more bandwidth intense. Any advice?

RTSP Assistance

I have a shiny new 1.25 installation and my capture card & analog cams are working fine. I can also access my Brickcom WOB-100A via http/MJEPG, but would prefer RTSP and H.264 or MPEG4. I can access the camera using a browser on rtsp://<ip>/channel1 but when I try to configure ZM I get the follo...

Discarding Frame Warning

I have an RTSP/MPEG4 camera configured and am getting the following warnings filling up my logs every second or so. Oct 29 11:12:07 dvr zmc_m1[26803]: WAR [Packet in sequence, gap 250] Oct 29 11:12:07 dvr zmc_m1[26803]: WAR [Discarding frame 799] Oct 29 11:12:07 dvr zmc_m1[26803]: WAR [Discarding in...

I've got the same problem as hellvy. i'm using a Kodicom 8800 bt878 card and I get the same error. I've also just moved to CentOS and installed from source. This didn't used to happen with the same card and an RPM package for Fedora 10. dclarke - I read your post on webcams, but neither hellvy nor I...

Good quality PIC-E Capture Card

I've been running ZM for a while now and recently had a PC hardware failure. I now have an HP160-G6 server dedicated to the DVR task. However, this means I now need a PCI Express capture card with a minumum of 8 channels. Can anyone recommend a good quality, reliable card that will capture 240fps? T...

Lee, I understand that PAL or NTSC are interlaced images by default. I know that to avoid combing the only way to capture is at 320x240. But surely there is some way of getting better quality images without the need to jump to megapixel IP cameras? If I record at 640x240, is there a way to zoom my i...

Flav / whatboy - seem to be conflicting answers. Do I keep the existing structure and look for some other problem? Or do I need to enable USE_DEEP_STORAGE?
