bluecherry card, monitor scramble

With one camera it is fine, with all four ports used all the images scramble and flicker.

I've fixed this before but can't remember the correct option to change?

Re: Dual PV-149

Did you try working up from a smaller capture size?

Did you try different capture pallets?

Try starting at 320 X 240 and I think it's BGR24.

I'm a bit surprised that rgb565 works.

Whats the CPU usage?

Re: Accessing Zoneminder from 200 miles away

Wouldn't have a clue what you're talking about. Sorry! There's a number of ways to do this, not many of them can be explained in detail here. But the simple answer is forward port 80 and 22 to your zoneminder computer on your modem/router. Then you should be able to access the zm page from anywhere...

Re: get a single jpg file of an event via command line

You might be able to do something with alpine or another command line interface.

You could also write the script to put the saved j-peg in the /var/www directory and then look at it remotely. Or send it to you with ssh?

Re: Help on creating video per day

Do you know anything about scripting? Probably can do it with appending. Write to cron to start a script that sends one file to the hard drive and appends it to the master file for that day, then send another copy to another file to save the ten minute increments or whatever you record at. Probably ...

Re: Linux desktop or server portforwarding

If you can access port 80 from the outside and get the "it works" page, try typing zm after that. Something like http://localhost/zm or whatever it says. You seem to have two problems, one making dyndns work and one making your computer available to to you outside the network. They both wo...

Re: Linux desktop or server portforwarding

apache is default port 80 as to dyndns follow the directions for the ddns there and that sorta worked for me, it would update off and on. When I was puzzling that out I discovered one little script change that made it go. I access my home ZM from my ####.dyndns-blog.com page and then link it from my...

Re: Record 24h and rename events as the days of the week

speaking of cron jobs

You want one long file for every day of the week?

or you want the names changed to the day of the week with the numbers still intact?

instead of event-123456
you get monday-123456

Re: Linux desktop or server portforwarding

I run dyndns and it works like a champ when you get it configured. look around there is another script you need to configure after you get dyndns. As far as I know you have to forward all routers and modems to a specific machine. Even if there is only one computer on it you have to check for that, m...

Re: make it not start at boot

That no work. Running it on ubuntu and mint. It would be really nice to be able to use other programs and then if I wanted to, to turn on zoneminder. It's also annoying to start monkeying around with other programs and have to remind myself to turn off zoneminder after I've spent half an hour screwi...
