Re: Did Old Events Get Placed Elsewhere During Upgrade?

Good explanation. However, following an upgrade to 1.32.2 and the consequent deletion of images: orphaned events are still showing in the database, and storage is 100GB higher than actual. I have tried various filters to remove the old orphaned events but this does not work. ZMaudit also does not cl...

Run State button and Zones

Recently upgraded from 1.32.1 to 1.32.2 running Ubuntu Server 16.04.5.I am using four 1080p Hikvision cameras, in h264 passthrough and modect modes. Had some issues, so I also did a clean install. In both cases, issues are as follows: 1. Cannot change Run state, button not working. 2. Cannot show zo...

Montage view missing info

Recently upgraded from 1.30.4 to 1.32.1 running Ubuntu Server 16.04.5. Following a restart 1.32.1 is running very well, and no log errors. Using four 1080p Hikvision cameras, in h264 passthrough and modect modes. However, the only glitch I have found is that in Montage view there is no 'Status' or '...

Re: ZoneMinder 1.30.2 Release Candidate 1 Available for Testing

1.30.2 version on Ubuntu server 16.04.01

Similar monitor functions problems. Can switch from "monitor to modect", but switching from "modect" to "monitor" or "none" function - the monitor still captures and analyses - requires a zoneminder restart.

Re: 1.30.2 cannot login

From MariaDB website: "In MariaDB, the default character set is latin1, and the default collation is latin1_swedish_ci (however this may differ in some distros, see for example Differences in MariaDB in Debian)" I used Mysql (latin1 default) on Ubuntu 16.04.01 LTS until a couple of versions ago, the...

Re: 1.30.2 cannot login (Not 1.30.2 specific) fixed

After a bit of research: logged into mysql shell zm database and created a new password with: > update Users set Password = password( "newpassword" ) where Username="user"; Again I got the SQL-ERR 1267 when trying to login? My database showed +--------------------+---------+--------------------+ | z...

Re: 1.30.2 cannot login

Ok. I went into zm database checked that user was correct. I removed the password from the db - put blank password. I attempted to log in again, I was prompted for a new password. Got the same error message. SQL-ERR 'SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1267 Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,I...

1.30.2 cannot login

Hi. I just upgraded to 1.30.2 (from 1.30.0) running on Ubuntu server 16.04 LTS. Upgrade went fine and zoneminder was working well, except for creating a new user (errors same as below). I had previously added another user, so I removed the default admin user. When I restarted zoneminder again I got ...

Re: Use RPi with Motion as video source

I use MotionEyeOS with a Raspberry Pi B which uses the motion daemon. This streams a Logitech webcam to ZM 1.29.0 The url ( without authentication) is: http://IPADDRESS:8081 for the first camera, http://IPADDRESS:8082 2nd camera, on the same Raspberry Pi. General - Source = Remote Suorce - Remote Pr...

Re: Ubuntu ZM 1.29.0 in PPA Master

OS: Ubuntu Server 14.04.3 LTS Upgrade from 1.28.109 Master to 1.29.0 Master seemed to succeed. However on restarting ZM I got: 'Version mismatch, system is version 1.29.0, database is 1.28.109' Solved: command ~ sudo zmupdate.pl Database successfully upgraded to 1.29.0 Many thanks for the great work...

Re: Terminating, last frame sent time 1430120263.528179 secs

I wonder, has any anyone experienced this problem ' 'Last frame sent time 1430120263.528179 secs' on ZM versions prior to 1.28.1?

Re: Terminating, last frame sent time 1430120263.528179 secs

Your findings are similar to mine. After much experimentation with frame rates and streaming rates, I eventually got my Logitech webcam - Raspberry Pi (MotionPie software) to stream at 960x720 at a stable 4 fps to my ZM 1.28.1/Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server (FPS blank). I am no longer getting: 'Terminating...

Re: Terminating, last frame sent time 1430120263.528179 secs

'Under certain fps frame rate/video streaming combo I get the above 'Terminating' message.' Example: MotionPie software set frame capture at 5 fps (640x480), and MotionPie video streaming at 7fps caused the 'Terminating... 1430301155.783266 secs' problem, with ZM 1.28.1 hanging for a while. ZM fps ...

Re: Terminating, last frame sent time 1430120263.528179 secs
