I was having similar problems. These cards don't mix very painlesslly. # cat /proc/interrupts see if each card has it's own interrupt. And try diffrent cards=102...103...102 combinantions. For my mini-monitoring (32 inputs, 8 bttv/bt878a chips + 4 inputs,1bttv/bt878a) i mixed "big" Kodicom...

Problem still exists:

Tried: 3 diffrent cards (of the same type obviouslly) and _very_ diffrent 3 boxes. Still using "streamer" hack does the trick.

Hello there ! Has anyone "more than tried" to do local zm-interface without browser (firefox) and some window manager? If not then maybe I will be doing it. Right now i'm on the very basic feature list: a) montage with 4 sources "scalled up/down" to fit whole screen b) reacting t...

ok. from my point of view you are right. But "The Client" makes the rules and after all: a) 2.6 Ghz cpu capturing 4/8 sources will be still in good shape when creating avis. b) Saving harddrive space is my goal c) joining video with sound seems "laggin" and i'm going only to show...

Right now i'm producing .avi files instead of bunch of jpeg images and have "x2-5" /var saveup :) mp3 copressed files, even with silence are "cheap" in space. And mixing audio+video (w/ good fps) into 600s avis is some thing that would be awesome.

Hi! After some poking around with mencoder i've figured that creating avi/divx files saves much space in zm boxes. This script removes jpg older than 24 hours (still I would like to save the one with "Thunibal" jpg for easy navigating through events). Another script just like that one with...

sound recording

Hello. I'm aware of: http://www.zoneminder.com/fileadmin/downloads/README.html saying it'ts on To-Do: "Add sound support..." But what status it's now? I might be adding some sound-recording to working zm-system and thinking about things like microphones, audio_in on soundcard and mp3 compr...

Yeap, your are missing this card's magic: You have inputs 0..15 (0-3 are on the card, 4-15 on expansion [how do you call "śledź" (herring) in english/computer slang? --] thing :-D The inputs are "shared" i.e. I could say to _any_ /dev/videoX to grab _any_ channel/input. So I use:...

With kernel 2.6.12 it seems it works :-D But. Remember to card=133,132,133,133.
