Well, these are pretty much my settings (they were v4l version 1 for the old zoneminder, which worked). The only exception is that there is no plain NTSC option; I've tried all four that are there.

Also, where is the multi_buffer option?

I am using ubuntu 8.04 on this machine.

I noticed /var/log/syslog kept spitting out "debug level: 0" or something like that. How do I turn on more verbose messaging? The compiler script had some debug options turned on by default, I think.

Does anyone know of a good guide to exporting frames as avi's through the export button? I have ubuntu hardy on all my ZM machines, but I've yet to find a proper way to add a radio button allowing the user to export segments via an ffmpeg script.

I fixed it... turned out to be a permissions issue on some symlinked mounted media.

Zoneminder stopped recording more than 1 day at a time! it only starts recording again WHEN I LOOK at the console screen.
