^ and as a followup to commit mentioned in the previous post, today we just fixed a typo related to that too:

Re: What Analytics/Telemetry Data?

Since I live in the US, I missed the GDPR implications of this question. We are discussing this internally and will roll out a solution that complies with that asap.

Re: What Analytics/Telemetry Data?

It's written in Perl (not compiled) so just look in /usr/bin/zmtelemetry.pl. You can view it on github too if you want: https://github.com/ZoneMinder/zoneminder/blob/master/scripts/zmtelemetry.pl.in#L88 The variable names are self explanatory. It's essentially just info about your system and how man...

Have you tried to contact the OpenSuse rpm package maintainer?
Monex is the only one I know who can speak specifically to zoneminder on opensuse.

Re: Zoneminder add cert

Unable to find a virtual host listening on port 80 which is currently needed for Certbot to prove to the CA that you control your domain. Please add a virtual host for port 80. This message can be a bit misleading. In addition to having Apache listen on port 80, the message is telling you certbot i...

Re: Is it possible to blank a part?

A couple years ago someone contributed privacy zones as a zone type. I've not used it myself but that sounds like what you are asking for.

Re: Zoneminder add cert

Double check your firewall has both port 80 and 443 open and they are forwarded to your server. That can cause certbot to fail.

Re: Zoneminder add cert

Certbot works just fine with the zoneminder rpm without modification so I'm not sure why you think you have to change anything. In any case, to answer your question about auto redirecting to https, you have to remove the rewrite rule from the config file then restart apache. You either missed that s...

Re: does zoneminder can support h.265?

ZoneMinder uses external libraries to stream video from modern ip cameras. The question to ask is not whether ZoneMinder supports a particular compression standard, but rather the library you are using supports the compression standard in question. Ffmpeg is the recommended library to use. Sometimes...

Re: Early Friday Funny

I was waiting for her to back into them in the white suv! A decade ago I had a neighbor back over my mailbox like it wasn't even there. Then I watched him come back and try to stick back in the ground. When I came home from work, I wondered why my mailbox was leaning over, and the surveillance showe...

here is the fix -> https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php?p=105092#p105092 We already committed this fix into our own fork of the Crud module. It is hosted here: https://github.com/ZoneMinder/crud/tree/3.0 We've got the fixed version of Crud tied into the zoneminder project as a git submodule,...

Re: Zoneminder and Low Power Computers

Just to be sure nothing broke, I tried the build again. Looks like the do_debian script works: $ ls zoneminder* zoneminder_1.31.44~20180510115320.orig.tar.gz zoneminder_1.31.44~20180510115320-stretch_armhf.build zoneminder_1.31.44~20180510115320-stretch_armhf.buildinfo zoneminder_1.31.44~20180510115...

Re: Zoneminder and Low Power Computers

If by build script you mean the zoneminder do_debian script, it should build just fine on Stretch. I have upgraded my Armbian installation to Stretch, and have successfully built zoneminder. Going through my command history, it looks like I did this: ./do_debian_package.sh --snapshot=NOW --branch=ma...

Re: Zoneminder and Low Power Computers

I have been having a lot of issues of late though, system locks up with nothing in the logs. I do note this page though http://zoneminder.blogspot.com.au/p/zoneminder-on-odroid-xu4.html, which is very different to how I put together my XU4.... so I may just reflash the MMC using those instructions ...

Re: Can't access web interface

Here is the relevant line from my /etc/passwd file you are referring to: apache:x:48:48:Apache:/usr/share/httpd:/sbin/nologin As you can see, both the uid and gid are set to 48. The group name is apache. The label "Apache" you are referring to is actually the comment field. This is confirmed by down...
