Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure

The messages you posted are just warnings. They are not fatal, so that might not be the root cause of the API not working. In any case, from what you posted, verify the files and folders mentioned in the message: - /var/log/zm exists - /var/log/zm is owned by the web account user - /var/log/zm/cake_...

Re: zmcontrol ERR 503 in logs

503 Service Unavailable is a standard HTTP error response code. That is the response the camera is sending back to zoneminder. e.g. ZoneMinder is just passing the message it got from the camera into the logs. The Axis M3027 is not a PTZ camera in the traditional sense. It is a panoramic camera. That...

Re: File source not working anymore

/tmp folder resides on private tmpfs for Debian based distros, which means only you can see the files in your tmp folder. The web user account has its own, different /tmp folder. Try putting the file somewhere else on your filesystem, like /dev/shm.

Does that mean we won't be able to see the analysis frames when trying to tune the zones ?
No. It means the setting is per camera rather than global.

Re: Call to undefined function apc_fetch()

Since you are running Ubuntu, you need to be careful to edit the correct php.ini file. I don't recall which one off the top of head, but it should be in the documentation.

Re: Call to undefined function apc_fetch()

You are either missing the apcu package and/or the apcu_bc package (package names can vary), or apcu cache is not enabled in your php.ini.

Re: Zoneminder on Ubuntu 18.04 - Odroid XU4 (ARMHF)

I do my development on the exact same setup you are running, ODroid XU4 (technically it's an HC1 which has the brains of an XU4) on Armbian (Ubuntu 18.04). I am not experiencing any streaming issues, and I've tested this on several cameras. Verify your operating system is stock. By that I mean, veri...

Re: Centos 7 Install Missing Link

This is incorrect. There is a script alias in the updated apache config that takes care of this. Check your apache config and make sure it contains the new config as described in the readme. Next time I am on front of a pc I can give you more details.

Try this: https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27886#p108869 Verify all three timezones are reporting the same offset. Then also try re-running zmupdate in the manner shown here: https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27622&p=108402&hilit=1.30.4#p108402 At the moment, we st...

Re: Update to 1.32.3 error

We still have not been able to duplicate this. This is just a guess, but run this sql query to see what the timezone offset is on your sql server: SELECT TIMEDIFF(NOW(), UTC_TIMESTAMP); Then determine the timezone offset in both php and the system, by converting the timezone name to it's current off...

Re: Problem with analysis images

CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES will not not be present in the next release.

This is a work in progress while we transition from jpeg -> mp4 so some things overlap at the moment.

Open Monitor Config -> Storage tab -> Enable Analysis Image jpegs

Your motion zones also need to have the Blob method enabled.

Re: Migrate from ZM 1.30.x to 1.32.x

You are right on the transition where we have removed non-portable settings (i.e. Options -> Paths) from the dB and into config files under /etc/zm/conf.d. This was done specifically for the scenario you plan to go down.... migration from one distro to another. Previously, a migration like this woul...
