any improvements to events? last releases are generating a lot of tiny events (0 secs some), even with buffer set longer

Run Synaptic, and "Completely Remove" mysql and zoneminder. Then when you reinstall it will be totally clean. thanks... last time i removed with synaptic i removed also some other stuff and couldn`t boot into ubuntu again :P and I had to reinstall the desktop now it seems it works. thanks...

well i installed ubuntu desktop and zm and after i saw ffmpeg doesn`t work i formatted the hdd and went back to live cd.

the log is in /var/log/apache2/error.log

"You should configure with the --with-ffmpeg option and rebuild to use this functionality."

yes but .deb file is not copiled to use ffmpeg... and i receive an error in logs that says that i can`t use ffmpeg because i need to compile zm with ffmpeg support..

Set the post buffers higher for each monitor. post image buffer is set to 1000 but i still get tiny events :( i`m working on it to see why it stops somethimes when motion is over. Also if i open the camera to view the event is splitted or so, another event is generated... i`m confused... i mighjt b...

do you know how can i reduce the buffer so the camera is displayed faster?

i used mplayer on localhost where zm is installed and mplayer was buffering too much.. somethimes was only buffering no image displayed at all
